To Reading Marina.

Tuesday 2nd October, 2012 in Reading Marina.
This morning, we left our mooring next to the Oscar Wilde Walk behind Reading Gaol after cleaning all the leaves, conkers and bird effluent from MM's roof!
At Blake's lock, the border between the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Thames, we met another haughty Heron who allowed us to get very close.
We left the Kennet and Avon Canal, crossed the Thames and took MM into Reading Marina for a few days while we go back to Reigate.
When we had moored up in the marina, we met a very friendly cat with a remarkable coloured coat.
When we return next Sunday we should be on the last leg of our summer's cruise - up the River Thames and the Oxford Canal to Enslow Marina, MM's "Home."
Today: 1 mile, 1 lock and 1.4 hours.
Trip: 293 miles, 303 locks and 261.6 hours.
